Greta Gerter Gold's: "Characters" at Lincoln Center Atrium

  • David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center 61 West 62nd Street New York, NY, 10023 United States (map)

Composer, lyricist, and performer Greta Gertler Gold is a dual citizen of multiple worlds: New York City and Australia, indie rock and musical theater, irreverent comedy and political feminism. Her current projects include compositions for musical adaptations of Picnic at Hanging Rock and The Red Tree with playwright Hilary Bell, the original musicals Anna Hit (with Tony Award winner Stew) and Triplight (with playwright Ally Collier), Gilda Stone (book, lyrics and music by Greta), and a forthcoming album from her band The Universal Thump, co-produced with her husband, the drummer Adam Gold. For this showcase, Gertler Gold will present a variety of songs from her many projects, supported by a bevy of musicians, including a string quartet and a cornucopia of guests from across the off-Broadway, pop and jazz spectrums.

This event is free and open to the public. Seating and entry are first-come, first-served; the line will form at the Atrium’s entrance on Broadway, between 62nd and 63rd Street.  Learn more here.
